Southern California Glass Management Association was once again honored to sponsor the 2025 Los Angeles Builders Ball, held on March 20th at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. This event, hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, celebrated the incredible work of Habitat LA’s partners in the building, real estate, and related industries, as well as those who are helping to shape the future of affordable housing through their generous support.
The evening began with a silent auction, where guests had the opportunity to bid on exclusive items and experiences, followed by a live auction that brought even greater excitement. During the live auction, moving stories were shared, highlighting the impact of giving back and showcasing how the contributions of individuals and organizations help Habitat LA build homes and change lives.
Erin Rank, President and CEO of Habitat LA, delivered a powerful keynote address that set the tone for the evening. She spoke passionately about Habitat LA’s commitment to rebuilding Los Angeles after the devastation of the Palisades fire, emphasizing the urgent need for home restoration and support for families impacted by such disasters.
Following Erin’s inspiring words, the event continued with the recognition of the 2025 Builders Ball honorees, who were celebrated for their exceptional contributions to Habitat LA’s mission. This year’s honorees were Greystar, recognized as Builder of the Year for their leadership in sustainable development, Cindy Hoag, honored as Foundation Builder for her years of dedicated support to Habitat LA, and Byron and CeCe Scott, named Dream Builders for their commitment to community revitalization.
The event concluded with a special performance by Robin Thicke, celebrating the shared commitment to building a stronger, more hopeful Los Angeles. Representing SCGMA at the event were member Jacqueline Arbid with Giroux Glass, Tina Edwards with Edwards Glass, and SCGMA staff member Rowanne Khafagy. SCGMA is proud to support Habitat LA’s mission and continue the efforts to transform communities through homeownership.
